Udo Maryanne Okonjo BIOGRAPHY


Mrs. Udo Maryanne Okonjo a Lawyer and Real Estate Developer.

She is a native of Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State, Nigeria. Mrs Okonjo holds an LL.B from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where she was the best graduating female law student in her set. It earned her scholarship by the British government to further her studies at King's College, London where she obtained her Masters of Law degree.

She started her career as a lawyer in legal department of an organisation. From there, she went to work in law firms before she found her way into property administration.

She has 17 years experience working at top law firms in the United States and Nigeria. She is a former partner at Templars Law Firm, and was previously associated with the law firm of Udo Udoma and Bello-Osagie. Earlier, she worked in the Washington DC

Housing projects embarked upon by the outfit include the Stone Creek, Pine Court, Luxury Garden, San Diara, the Gulf Estate and Diamond Estate in Port Harcourt to be launched soon.

Projects in the pipeline include a school for the less privileged, another project tagged Genesis to help ex-sex workers with accommodation. In addition, it plans to adopt 10 children every year over the next three years.

Mrs Okonjo has three kids within the ages of 13 and eight.

She believes that women are better leaders and managers. "Women bring style into managing people. Women are compassionate about people around them.

Who are her role models? "People like Donald Trump in New York, Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Ditto United States Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton and Dr. Maimai Osagie.

Her hobbies include reading, traveling and playing golf.
